Q, Does my policy cover me to drive other cars?
A, if your certificate allows you to drive a car which you do not own, you will be covered but only for liability to others.
Q, Can I tow a trailer, caravan or broken-down vehicle?
A, yes, only one vehicle may be towed at a time, and cover only applies when the vehicle is attached to your car. The cover for your car will be the same, but the trailer or vehicle being towed will only be insured for liability to others.

A, if you agree to use an insurers approved repairer you may be entitled to a courtesy vehicle for the duration of the repair, this is subject to availability at the repairer and whether your vehicle can be repaired.

A, your insurance policy will not provide a car however you can take out an additional policy that will, please ask for details.
Q, what should I do in an event of a claim?
A, Do not drive away, ask for the names and addresses of any drivers or pedestrians. If there is another driver involved, ask for the name of his or her insurer and for their insurance policy or certificate number. Do not admit you were at fault in any way or offer to make a payment. You must then report it immediately.
Q What changes do I need to make you aware?
A, you must tell us immediately if there are any changes to the information you have given us. If you do not do this, your insurance cover may not be valid.
Q, What level of care do I need to protect my policy?
A, you must keep your vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition and make every attempt to protect it from damage or theft. If you leave your vehicle it will not be covered if you have not locked and secured it. This applies even for short periods, such as in a petrol station or loading or unloading. You should also make every effort to protect you keys from theft, please keep them safe when you are not using them.
Q, Do I pay VAT?
A, Insurance premiums are not subject to VAT , However if you are VAT registered you will be responsible to pay the VAT on any repairs carried out on your vehicle and the total loss settlement will not include VAT as per the inland revenue terms and conditions.
Q, Is my mobile phone and portable satellite navigation equipment covered?
A, No, we advise not to leave any valuables in the vehicle whilst unattended.
Q, Can I travel abroad in my vehicle?
A, You can extend your insurance cover to apply in Europe while you are using the vehicle for social, domestic or pleasure purposes, please contact us before you travel outside the UK to ensure your insurance remains valid in those countries you wish to drive in..
Q I have an any driver policy, does that mean I can let anyone drive?
A, No, there are still restrictions that apply, every driver must hold a valid driving licence and you should make sure the people you allow to drive also have a valid driving licence and are not disqualified, you must contact us with any motoring convictions including any that are pending, also collect their accident and claims history together with any infirmities before cover can be assumed.
Q, what would happen if I missed an instalment?
A, if you do not pay an instalment when it is due, your insurers may refuse to pay any claim arising from an event which happens on or after that date. If you do not pay a previously unpaid instalment when asked for a second time, your insurers will cancel the insurance contract from the due date, all cover will end and you must return your insurance certificate.
